Land promotion

A land promotion agreement between a landowner and a promoter agrees to applying for planning permission and if obtained to sell the land on the open market.

When the agreement is made, the promoter funds the Planning process. On obtaining Planning approval, the land is sold, and the promoter is reimbursed a percentage of the net sale proceeds.
